SolidRun and Leopard Imaging Partner on Pre-Validated Hailo-15 Edge AI Vision Platform

SolidRun and Leopard Imaging Inc. released information that the two companies will collaborate to simplify and accelerate the development of next-generation edge AI vision applications. Leopard Imaging's camera innovations will combine with SolidRun's Hailo-15 AI platforms offering customers a pre-validated solution moving focus on application development rather than hardware integration.
According to the press release, Leopard Imaging's MIPI CSI-2 camera modules have been validated and optimized for use with SolidRun's Hailo-15 System-on-Module (SoM) and HummingBoard Hailo-15 AIOT platforms. The solution merges sophisticated imaging, embedded AI processing, and production-ready hardware into a single platform.
"Leopard Imaging is committed to delivering industry-leading embedded camera modules that provide the image quality, reliability, and performance required for demanding vision applications," said Bill Pu, Co-founder and CEO of Leopard Imaging.
At present, the platform supports Leopard Imaging camera modules based on Sony's IMX678 and IMX334 image sensors. Combining the camera modules to the Hailo-15 platform delivers up to 20 TOPS of edge AI performance for complex real-time vision workloads.
