Workload consolidation is an industry term for combining multiple operations into fewer platforms with a reduced infrastructure and making better use of existing resources. In our industrials/manufacturing space, consolidating reduces costs, increases efficiencies, satisfies customers, and innovates new products and services.
The “operations” could refer to systems that employ images, video, network data, and manufacturing capabilities. And the “combining” occurs due to the widespread use of Industrial Internet of Things (Industry 4.0) technology.
This webinar will explore the various facets of technology involved in workload consolidation through the use of Intel technology. Topics may include PLCs, HMIs, time-sensitive networking (TSN), functional safety, and machine learning.
Speakers:: Jason A Shepherd, IoT and Edge Computing CTO, Dell Technologies
Bharath Ramesh, Head, WW Product Management, Converged Servers, Edge and IoT Systems, Hewlett Packard Enterprise
