This seminar will cover how today's engineering development teams can utilize a multipurpose embedded Linux distribution to create powerful embedded solutions. We will explore how open source packages developed and maturing today provide a path to carrier-grade Linux (CGL) solutions for embedded developers as well as how OEM-specific installable options (MTP2, X.25, Frame Relay, etc), ISDN and SIP libraries help provide powerful edge processing solutions. We will conclude with an example of how these embedded solutions can all be incorporated into a single, managed high availability platform.
