Java is very powerful, especially for embedded applications. However, using bytecodes and a managed runtime in the form of the JVM can negatively impact application start times. This is especially relevant for IoT devices. Azul has a solution, thanks to its Checkpoint/Restore tool. In this webinar, we'll explain the issues behind the performance of starting an embedded Java application and then show how Checkpoint/Restore addresses them. We'll include details of how to use Checkpoint/Restore in a sample application.
