Elma Electronic is releasing its 3U CompactPCI Serial-based JetKit-3010 single board computing engine. The single board computing engine will deliver artificial intelligence (AI) such as enabled video inspection and object detection.

Elma Electronic has added three new models to its NetSys family of rugged, secure networking systems that facilitate edge computing in a number of mission-critical applications. Utilizing an onboard encryption module that offloads packet encryption and decryption from the routing engine, the routers provide increased data handling performance. 

The CompactPCI specification defines a low-cost, modular, and scalable approach to building systems for a wide range of applications, including industrial, commercial, aerospace, military, instrumentation, data acquisition, and communications. The benefits of CompactPCI Serial include higher speeds, lower costs, and open standards.

The new ComSys-5301 endures tough environmental conditions to provide reliable, long-term performance.
