Quantum computing is beginning to have a considerable impact on cybersecurity. The challenges of keeping encrypted data confidential with added integrity of digital signatures is fast becoming a focal point for cybersecurity.

Dr. Rutger Wijburg will join the Management Board of Infineon Technologies AG as new Chief Operations Officer on 1 April 2022. He will succeed Jochen Hanebeck, who will take over from Dr. Reinhard Ploss as the new Chief Executive Officer, according to plan. The company announced the Supervisory Board decision on the occasion of its Annual General Meeting.

Infineon Technologies AG is collaborating with SensiML to offer developers an ideal process to capture data from Infineon XENSIV sensors, train Machine Learning (ML) models, and deploy real-time inferencing models directly on ultra-low power PSoC 6 microcontrollers (MCUs).
