Munich, Germany. Memfault and Infineon collaborated to increase the efficiency of designers using Infineon products with the ModusToolbox ecosystem by way of the ModusToolbox & Friends initiative. Included is an Infineon ARM-based microprocessor solutiuon with stout and product-ready partner software, such as the PSoC 6 series.
Infineon launches XMC7000 series for industrial applications with increased performance, memory, advanced peripherals, and extended temperature range - NewsNovember 15, 2022
Munich, Germany. 9 November, 2022 – At electronica 2022, Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) launches the XMC7000 microcontroller (MCU) family for advanced industrial applications including industrial drives, electrical vehicle (EV) charging, two-wheel electrical vehicles and robotics. The XMC7000 series offers single and dual core options of 350-MHz 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M7 and a 100-MHz 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M0+, up to 8 MB of embedded flash and 1 MB of on-chip SRAM. The products operate from 2.7 to 5.5 V and achieve full specification from -40°C to 125°C.
Munich, Germany. Infineon Technologies AG commercially released its industrial high density serial F-RAMs, the 8- and 16-Mbit EXCELON F-RAM memories. Both the 8-and 16-bit memories focus on non-volatile data-logging needs for the next-generation automotive and industrial systems to mitigate data loss at the edge. Also featured is a wide voltage operation from 1.71 V to 3.6 V, support up to 54-MBps of data throughput over a low-pin count interface, and offered in a RoHS-compliant, 24-ball FBGA package.
Munich. Infineon Technologies AG will be at the electronica trade fair to present its solutions for the major challenges of our time.
Munich, Germany. Infineon Technologies AG announced its PSoC 4100S Max family with up to 384K Flash memory and 84 GPIOs for HMI solutions supporting the fifth-generation CAPSENSE touch sensors. Also included is CAN-FD, high-speed, long-range wired communication, and I²S master for embedded audio solutions.
The ink is not yet dried on the Matter specification. Those in the know claim that this is one of the most important specifications to come across the electronics space in a long, long time, particularly for IoT devices makers. Are you in the know?
Munich, Germany. Infineon Technologies has set a new benchmark in 950 V superjunction (SJ) technology with its CoolMOS PFD7 high-voltage MOSFET family including an embedded body diode for ultra-low reverse recovery charge (Q rr) and reduced switching losses (E OSS, Q OSS, and Q g) for better efficacy in hard- and soft-switching applications, with the effect of up to 4°K lower MOSFET temperature than previous technology.
