I’m Ken Briodagh, Editor in Chief at Embedded Computing Design, and this week on DevKit Weekly, we're going to take a look at the Certus 9704 Satellite IoT Developer Kit from Iridium.

Iridium Communications Inc. introduced Project Stardust, the next generation of its direct-to-device (D2D) strategy with 3GPP 5G standards-based Narrowband-Internet of Things (NB-IoT) Non-Terrestrial Network (NB-NTN) service development. The solution gives smartphone companies, OEMs, chipmakers, mobile network operators (MNO) and related IoT developers ability to meet specific needs within the Iridium network of satellites.

Iridium Communications Inc. released its Iridium GO! exec Premium Dual Mode and LITE Antenna Kits for fixed installations. Included in the kit is a combined GNSS and Iridium antenna, Iridium certified extended antenna cables, and a variety of mounting devices for a myriad of applications.  A LITE edition delivers an Iridium omnidirectional antenna, extended cable, and a fixed rail mount.
