PEAK-System Technik introduced its PCAN-GPS Pro FD, a flexible sensor designed to identify the position, orientation, and acceleration of matters. The solution is housed in an aluminum shell for deployments in harsh environments.

PEAK-System launched the PCAN-OBDonUDS API, a new programming interface for the high-layer OBDonUDS (SAE J1979-2) protocol. The API is designed to offer OBDonUDS services for Windows application development, using the underlying PCAN-Basic and PCAN-UDS APIs to communicate diagnostic data over the CAN bus.

At embedded world 2024, PEAK-System will be presenting its new programmable modules and I/O products with CAN FD connection. The PCAN-MicroMod FD ECU enables the integration of customer-specific accessories in commercial and heavy-duty vehicles. The universal control unit is equipped with a CAN FD connection, a mixture of analog and digital I/Os, and a robust casing with automotive connectors. Signal processing and message transmission are configured using a Windows software via the CAN bus. Alternatively, the PCAN-MicroMod FD ECU can be switched to use the SAE J1939 and J1939 FD communication standards. PEAK-System will publish this option free of charge for all PCAN-MicroMod FD products.

PEAK-System has introduced a sensor with CAN FD connection. The PCAN-GPS FD I/O module was developed to detect position, orientation, and acceleration. The solution is capable of connecting via a CAN connection that supports both CAN FD standard and classic CAN.
