Malvern, Pennsylvania. Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. announced a new family of Class 1 radial-leaded high voltage single-layer ceramic disc capacitors providing a low dissipation factor (DF) and DC bias for industrial and medical markets.

 

Malvern, Pennsylvania. Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. recently released an Automotive Grade IHDF edge-wound through-hole inductor with rated current up to 72 A and saturation currents up to 230 A. Leveraging ferrite core technology and a low 15.4 mm form, the Vishay Custom Magnetics IHDF-1300AE-1A operates seamlessly across a wide temperature spectrum from -55 °C to +155 °C, ensuring low AC and DC power losses and effective heat dissipation.

Malvern, Pennsylvania. Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. released its high speed silicon PIN photodiode with enhanced sensitivity for visible light in a compact 2.0 mm by 1.8 mm by 0.6 mm top-view surface-mounted casing with transparent epoxy for heightened sensitivity. The VEMD2704 bsupports rapid switching times of 70 ns and minimal capacitance of 17.6 pF, ensuring accurate signal detection in wearable devices.

Malvern, Pennsylvania. Vishay Intertechnology introduced a 650 V E Series power MOSFET, the Siliconix n-channel SiHP054N65E delivering a solution to improve efficacy and power density enhancements in the two initial points of a power system architecture (power factor correction (PFC) and subsequent DC/DC converter blocks). According to Vishay, its SiHP054N65E slashes on-resistance by 48.2 % while offering a 59 % lower resistance times gate charge, a key figure of merit (FOM) for 650 V MOSFETs used in power conversion applications.

 

Malvern, Pennsylvania. Vishay Intertechnology, Inc., by the way of its Optoelectronics group, is delivering its VCNT2030, a surface mounted reflective optical sensor that measures 1.85 mm x 1.2 mm x 0.6 mm containing a vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) and a silicon phototransistor. The sensor is ideal for industrial, computing, consumer, and mobility applications.

Malvern, Pennsylvania. Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. released two new fixed-gain infrared (IR) sensor modules developed for lower costs and improved stability for sensor applications in outdoor environments. The surface-mount TSSP93038DF1PZA and leaded TSSP93038SS1ZA offer typical irradiance of 1.3 mW/m² in compact Minimold packages. The modules assist with operating in direct sunlight while able to provide sensitivity for light barrier situations without unwanted pulses.
