The Zephyr Project announced new Silver members joining its ecosystem including Chengdu Jingrong Lianchuang Technology, Embedd, Savoir-faire Linux, SevenLab and Schneider Electric. For better collaboration across embedded applications and edge computing, BeagleBoard.org and openEuler are becoming Associate members.

The Zephyr Project announced a milestone with Baumer joining as a Platinum member and Infineon Technologies, Qualcomm Innovation Center, Inc., Percepio, and Silicon Labs joining as Silver members. 

Percepio announced Tracealyzer version 4.5 with support for the Espressif ESP32 MCU, the open-source Zephyr RTOS, improved integration with Lauterbach uTrace, and more.

In a May 2020 report, NCC outlined the issues that were found and detailed how the Zephyr Project Security Committee was working to fix the issues.

Jennifer Fernick, Head of Research at NCC, spoke with Embedded Computing Design about 26 vulnerabilities found in the Zephyr RTOS and MCUboot bootloader during a recent security analysis.
