Littelfuse Photovoltaic Fuses Integrate Directly into Solar Roof Shingles

Littelfuse has announced that the 400PV series of photovoltaic fuses is now available. The 400PV Fuse series is a family of low-resistance, 2410-sized SMD circuit protectors that guard against reverse overcurrent and integrate directly with roof shingles so that they can be mounted directly to existing roofs. This eliminates the need for separate solar panels.

The UL 248-19 photovoltaic fuses include the following features:

  • High-reliability, 10,000 A max interrupting current at rated voltage
  • Suitable for leaded and lead-free soldering
  • 100% lead-free, halogen-free, and RoHS compliant

The devices are available in tape and reel packaging. To view a list of authorized distributors who can provide samples and pricing information, visit Littelfuse.com.
