embedded world North America will host the professionals in debugging, tracing, and testing at the PLS Development Tools Booth (number 2043) where it will be highlighting its UDE Universal Debug Engine. The UDE is an easy-to-use tool for software debugging, tracing, and testing for multicore microcontrollers and embedded processors from Infineon, NXP, STMicroelectronics, Renesas, Texas Instruments, Synopsys, and more.

All entries are judged using a 15-point rubric, that assesses design excellence, relative performance, and market impact/disruption. Judging is managed by the ECD Content Team.

PLS Development Tools will be attending embedded world 2024 where they will be located in Hall 4, Booth4-310. Its exhibitions will include platforms for simple and efficient debugging and run-time analysis of embedded software. A main focus at the booth will be discussions based around the safety and security in the automotive and industrial markets.

With the new version UDE 2022 of the Universal Debug Engine, PLS Programmierbare Logik & Systeme introduces the multicore debug and trace support for the new NXP Semiconductors S32Z and S32E real-time processors. 

A new intuitive user interface that allows even more efficient debugging of highly complex, next-generation multi-core systems is offered by UDE 2021, which PLS Programmierbare Logik & Systeme will be presenting for the first time at embedded world 2021 DIGITAL. For an improvement in automated testing, the code coverage functions have also been optimized and a Python console is implemented in the current version of the Universal Debug Engine (UDE).
