Embedded vision AI applications are revolutionizing industries by enabling highly complex real-time video stream processing and decision-making at the edge. These applications range from autonomous driving to smart manufacturing, where rapid analysis of visual data is critical. They demand real-time processing, low latency, and low power consumption to effectively analyze and interpret visual data.

All entries are judged using a 15-point rubric, that assesses design excellence, relative performance, and market impact/disruption. Judging is managed by the ECD Content Team.

In the past, FPGAs were predominantly utilized for higher value projects. Thanks to their flexibility, vast data processing capability, minimal latency, and deterministic timing, FPGAs excel in industries such as telecommunications and industrial, driving features like AI, and autonomous systems.

Enclustra is partnering with SGET to showcase the coin-sized Titan Pluto XZU20 at the SGET booth during this year’s inaugural embedded world North America. Demanding applications such as sensing systems, medical devices, robotics, remote applications, and industrial control systems require versatile platforms that can handle diverse computational workloads.

Enclustra was approached by a customer with an idea to design a solution for monitoring the frequency spectrum of wireless telecommunication signals for systems security, i.e., to detect unwanted activity in the spectrum. The unwanted activity could occur at any frequency or time using any communication protocol. With today’s technology in mind, these requirements meant monitoring the frequency range of multiple GHz at a high resolution. Despite the challenging setup, Enclustra's expertise made this project a perfect fit.
