TDK Enhances Automotive ADAS Applications - News

TDK Corporation released a full-scale fabrication of InvenSense IAM-20685, the tiniest ASIL-B monolithic 6-axis MEMS IMU in compliant with ISO 26262 for ADAS and autonomous car systems. “Thanks to its 6-axis integration and its ASIL-B compliancy at the component level, the IAM-20685 simplifies automotive ADAS systems development, helping overcome weaknesses of other technologies,” said Alberto Marinoni, Sr Director, Product Marketing Automotive at InvenSense, a TDK Group company.


TDK Showcases Thermally Stable IMUs at CES 2023 - News

CES 2023. TDK Corporation expanded its InvenSense SmartIndustrial sensor platform family with the six-axis tilt outputs IIM-20670 IMU (3-axis accelerometer, and 3-axis gyroscope) operating at a range from -40ᵒC to 105ᵒC for solutions requiring high stabilization over temperature. An accelerometer bias repeatability of 1 mg and a programmable output of 64G is featured along with an accelerometer thermal stability of 1.7 µg/C.

CES 2023. While highlighting 30 technologies, solutions, and platforms at CES 2023 (Central Hall - #16181), TDK Corporation also released information regarding its agreement to obtain Qeexo, Co. Qeexo will bring its expertise of automated machine-learning (ML) platforms for tinyML models requiring low power, and continuous running intelligent platforms. Qeexo will be completely absorbed by TDK for the goal of being an Industry 4.0 leader in enhancing smart edge applications.

TDK introduces extremely compact StandarD series disk varistors - Press Release

TDK Corporation (TSE:6762) presents the EPCOS B72307S0* (StandarD S07 Compact Series) and B72310S0* (StandarD S10 Compact Series) series of extremely compact, leaded disk varistors. The new varistors cover a wide voltage range from 115 VRMS to 460 VRMS in the StandarD S07 Compact series and from 130 VRMS to 680 VRMS in the StandarD S10 Compact series. The maximum surge current capability of a single pulse current (8/20 µs) is up to 1200 A for the StandarD S07 Compact types, and up to 2500 A for the StandarD S10 Compact types. They offer a multiple surge current capability of 500 A (StandarD S07 Compact) or 1500 A (StandarD S10 Compact), according to UL 1449, 4th edition, type 5 listed. The varistors can be operated up to an ambient temperature of 105 °C without derating.

TDK Offers Compact Shielded Transformers for Ultrasonic Applications - Press Release

October 27, 2022 -TDK Corporation (TSE:6762) presents the new B78302A* series of compact EPCOS transformers with innovative E5 cores for ultrasonic applications. It comprises three types with transformation ratios between 1:1:10.8 and 1:1:15.3. Depending on the type, the new transformers in SMD design offer inductance values between 2 mH and 4 mH and are suitable for frequencies from 50 kHz to 300 kHz. The AEC-Q200 qualified components have very compact dimensions of only 8.1 x 7.0 x 7.0 mm and are shielded by a counter-winding for better interference suppression. The permissible temperature range is between -40 °C and +125 °
