AI and all its varied facets are new to most of the world.

Memory technology doesn’t always advance at the swiftest pace, but there’s been some movement in this space as of late.

Virtium, a provider of industrial solid-state drive (SSD) and memory solutions, recently introduced a series of high-speed, small-form-factor memory modules.

It seems like there’s a new security solution popping up on a daily basis. One new entrant is SecuriThings, an IoT security vendor focusing on various industries, including healthcare.

There’s no moss gathering on the RISC-V stone. The group continues to make progress in just about all facets of its roadmap.

In this episode of the Embedded Insiders, Brandon and Rich discuss Silicon Laboratories recent divestiture of its infrastructure and automotive business units to SkyWorks Solutions. The sale includes the company’s power, isolation, broadcast, timing, and other products and IP. Silicon Labs CEO Tyson Tuttle said several years ago that the company is “all-in” on IoT, and this move appears to be him keeping his word. But was it the best move?
