Taipei, Taiwan. At COMPUTEX 2025, DFI and DEEPX highlighted the newest innovations that came to fruition from its edge AI partnership. The showcase featured embedded platforms leveraging DEEPX AI chips ideal for applications in smart cities and smart manufacturing. The main highlight was the integration of the DEEPX M.2 AI chip into DFI's enhanced AI solutions based on the EC700 and EC600 series platforms. The EC600 series supports an optional GPU for higher computing requirements.

Taipei, Taiwan. DFI will introduce several products including embedded motherboards, systems, and edge servers during COMPUTEX 2025. DFI will focus its exhibition on smart parking and UAV applications to demonstrate the benefits of edge AI in real-world use cases. DFI will join BenQ Qisda Group’s COMPUTEX AI WOW booth from May 20 to 23 in the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1, 4F, booth number M0120.

Taipei, Taiwan. DFI launched new Edge AI systems including the EC600 series with AI module expansion, the compact and fanless EC700 series, and the MPC350-RPS medical Edge AI server, designed for medical AI computing and processing. The solutions are developed to guarantee real-time computing, stable deployment, and enhanced data security.

Taipei, Taiwan. DFI will collaborate with DEEPX at CES 2025 to reveal industrial edge AI solutions integrated with the DX-M1 AI accelerator for smart city applications. The cooperation between the two shows promise innovating on-device and application-specific AI, leading to a more flexible, efficient, and sustainable edge AI implementation.

DFI launched the RAP310, a high-performance microATX industrial motherboard developed for everyday industrial computing, AI applications, and medical image systems. 

One of the best parts of my job is seeing products we write about being manufactured, whether it be semiconductors, boards, systems, tools, and so on. In many cases, we have to take the manufacturer's word. We can follow up with customers and suppliers, and we do, but seeing the manufacturing actually taking place, and watching the products roll down an assembly line is quite gratifying.
