In Q3 of 2025, it is expected that VersaLogic Corp. will be releasing the Sabertooth AI Lite, a new device in the Sabertooth AI family engineered for modest computing within fiscally responsible AI applications. It is powered by a Quad-Core i3 Coffee Lake CPU and an NVIDIA RTX A500 GPU housed in a compact form factor.

VersaLogic Corp. introduced its P3 module, a dual Mini PCIe socket expansion board that delivers an efficient and dependable solution for adding expansion cards to existing embedded environments. It features two full-size Mini PCIe sockets for a wide variety of off-the-shelf expansion cards, such as Ethernet, AI/GPU, and other standard I/O functions.

 

As AI and edge-computing capabilities are increasingly being integrated into critical defense, aerospace, medical, smart security, and energy applications, the need for advanced AI inferencing, high-bandwidth video streams, and overall efficiency and reliability in a rugged, compact form factor is paramount.

At this year’s embedded world, VersaLogic (booth 5-143) will exhibit its portfolio of compact board-level computers and expansion products including its new compact AI solutions with next-generation inferencing operation. Visitors will be able to engage in conversation with VersaLogic’s experts about COTS and modified COTS solutions, designed for rugged applications and long-term availability.

Tualatin, Oregon. VersaLogic Corp conducted tests and determined that its Sabertooth AI bests the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin by bringing 25 times faster AI inferencing. Multiple performance benchmarks and testing protocols were used to assess the inferencing capabilities of the embedded AI platforms. The benchmarks simulated real-world AI workloads and evaluated how well a solution can process tasks like image recognition, object detection, and sensor data analysis.

All entries are judged using a 15-point rubric, that assesses design excellence, relative performance, and market impact/disruption. Judging is managed by the ECD Content Team.

Tualatin, Oregon. The newest member of VersaLogic’s line of rugged computers, its Swift, featuring Intel’s Coffee Lake Refresh 9th-generation Xeon processor (6 cores and Hyper-Threading) with up to 32GB of error-correcting memory, enhanced 128 GB NVMe SSD storage, and TPM 2.0 security. Functional error-correcting memory is ideal for mission-critical applications and aeronautics applications at higher altitudes. The platform was engineered and tested for defense, aerospace, and medical applications.
