Modern display systems offer valuable support in hospitals and medical care facilities. The new bedside infotainment system BIS-W19-ULT4 from ICP Deutschland is a medical panel PC and monitor in one due to the integrated switch. Doctors and nursing staff can use the BIS-W19-ULT4 in many ways, whether as a digital patient database, as a visualization system for consultations or for push notifications and as an entertainment system for the patient.
Thanks to its antibacterial housing, IP65 protected capacitive multi-touch front and versatile connection options for interaction with the patients, the BIS-W19-ULT4 is suitable for use in medical environments. Two 18.5” displays in different resolutions (Full HD vs. QXGA), brightness (350 vs. 250cd/m2) and price range (up to 200€ price saving possible) are available.
An Intel® Kaby Lake ULT CoreTM i5-7300U or Celeron® 3965U processor and max. 32GB SO-DIMM memory work inside the panel PC. Two GbE LAN, four USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, one 1.5V isolated COM interface and one HDMI in-/output each are accessible from the outside.
A 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s hard disk or an mSATA SSD can be installed as mass storage. Integrated in the housing is a 2-megapixel camera with microphone and speaker as well as various easy-to-use function keys.
The BIS-W19-ULT4 can also be optionally supplemented with a 3-in-1 card reader, an RFID module, a VoIP telephone or a handle. The extended voltage input of 12V ~28VDC, the shock and vibration resistance as well as the certifications according to IEC 60601-1-6, IEC 62366 and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 60601-1:14 support its medical suitability (completed 2018/11).
Upon customer request, ICP supplies the BIS-W19-ULT4 with a suitable medical power supply, industrial RAM and mass storage and a pre-installed operating system as a ready-to-use system.
