Lauterbach Launches Full SAFERTOS Awareness in TRACE32 Arm Debug Environment
May 06, 2019
Press Release
Lauterbach has extended kernel awareness for WITTENSTEIN high integrity systems? SAFERTOS to all Arm processors in its TRACE32 debug environment.
UPPER BAVARIA, GERMANY. Lauterbach has extended kernel awareness for WITTENSTEIN high integrity systems’ SAFERTOS to all Arm processors in its TRACE32 debug environment. TRACE32 awareness for SAFERTOS delivers access to kernel information and system resource data, including task lists, dynamic thread performance, trace listings, and a SAFERTOS pull-down menu that make it easier to debug targets running the operating system.
The Lauterbach software package contains a ready-to-run configuration of the SAFERTOS kernel. It does not require additional target configuration or patches to the OS, meaning that the application will behave exactly in the debug environment as in the final design.
In addition to the features mentioned previously, TRACE32 SAFERTOS awareness allows developers to display PRACTICE functions for OS data, graphic displays of task and function run times, and statistical evaluations.
