Clea is a combination between the Easy Edge microcontroller and the AI Suite solution.

Easy Edge is a low power, feature-rich high-performance Microcontroller with Embedded Connectivity. Easy Edge is a mobile connected (LTE-M/NB-IoT/2G + Wi-Fi, BT) microcontroller. Once it has been installed on an industrial or commercial machine, it is able to execute Artificial Intelligence algorithms, transforming any device, such as a coffee machine or vending machine, into a smart machine.

AI Suite is a subscription service for industrial enterprises of any size. Upon subscribing to Clea, SECO retrofits the customer’s machines with Easy Edge Microcontroller and activates AI Suite-powered services on the device.

Clea creates value by reducing downtime and boosting machine performance. It increases productivity and releases value-added services to customers. With Clea it is possible, for example, to perform predictive maintenance on machines, or anticipate when they will require repairs. Other areas of application include data analysis in an IoT context, helping make business decisions increasingly “data driven.”
