ams and SmartSens Technology will be working together in the field of image sensors by collaborating on creating a 3D ASV reference design that sustains the future release of a 1.3MP Stacked BSI Global Shutter Image Sensor with state-of-the-art QE up to 40 percent at 940nm. 

The NIR sensor will expand ams’ 3D portfolio and improve overall system performance. The reference design will aid high performance depth maps for payment, face recognition and AR/VR applications.
