Five Minutes With… Gene Frantz, CTO, Octavo Systems

Gene Frantz was a 39-year veteran of Texas Instruments. Now, he’s moved on to his next challenge, as the CTO of Octavo. The new company launched on an interesting premise—condensing development boards down to systems in packages, or SIPs. The first product is a BeagleBone Black SIP. In addition, Gene explains how the company got its name, which is an interesting story.
