ROHM and Litmus Automation Partner on IoT Solution for Smart Factories
Synergistic collaboration combines key technology areas to achieve full end-to-end IoT connectivity
ROHM and Litmus Automation announced a collaboration on an IoT solution for smart factories that combine ROHM sensor and sub-GHz technologies with Litmus Automation’s LoopEdge gateway and LoopCloud platform.
Multiple ROHM sensors nodes are installed in industrial and factory equipment to monitor key parameters for improving performance and prevent unexpected failures. Sensor data is processed using ARM M0 and M3 core MCUs before being sent via Wi-SUN for collection and analysis at the Edge with Litmus Automation’s LoopEdge platform. The data can then be transmitted to LoopCloud to enable real-time monitoring and machine learning.
