The LwM2M Interoperability Program includes automated and semi-automated interoperability test cases for all LwM2M 1.0.2 interfaces, which are based on OMA SpecWorks? Enabler Test Specification.
AT&T and AVSystem have launched an LightweightM2M (LwM2M) Interoperability Program based on the latter’s Coiote IoT device management platform. The Interoperability Program is designed to help chipset vendors, module manufacturers, system integrators, and OEMs achieve compliance with the standard and better understand the performance of devices using the protocol.
The LwM2M Interoperability Program includes automated and semi-automated interoperability test cases for all LwM2M 1.0.2 interfaces, which are based on OMA SpecWorks’ Enabler Test Specification and AT&T’s Device Management Implementation Guide (DMIG). Testable interfaces consist of Bootstrap, Client Registration, Device Management, Service Enablement, and Information Reporting.
The Interoperability Program’s test cases can also be modified at runtime by system users. In addition, the platform offers tools that assist with extracting and analyzing logs.
Support for LwM2M 1.1 is expected to be added to the Interoperability Program soon.
