Raltron Launches RGP Antenna Series for Cellular and IoT Applications

Raltron developed the RGP Series, an ultra-wide band parabolic antenna series that provides continuous coverage for frequencies ranging from 600 MHz to 6.5 GHz.

Raltron developed the RGP Series, an ultra-wide band parabolic antenna series that provides continuous coverage for frequencies ranging from 600 MHz to 6.5 GHz. The new series supports 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G; further it operates on all cellular bands for voice and data which includes LTE, CDMA, GSM, UMTS, AWS and more.

Per a company release, the ultra-wide band means the RGP Series is suitable for most emerging IoT applications, GNSS bands, SDR, ISM 900, and satellite radio.

"The high-performance RGP Series offers an ultra-wide band to eliminate the need for customers to purchase multiple antennas to support multiple frequencies," said Raltron VP sales Ross Weiss, in the release. "The RGP Series features a robust and light weight design to ease installation in homes, apartment buildings, manufacturing facilities, office buildings, recreational and entertainment facilities and more."

The RGP Series was developed to be use as a cellular booster, it also supports such entities including military, government, public safety, and homeland security bands.

The series is available in two versions, a standard and a heavy-duty. They range in size from 24 x 39 x 16in and 35 x 35 x 8.5in respectively.

Furthermore, the RGP series has a gain range from 15 to 25 dBi standard. Gain and beamwidth can be optimized at 600 to 900 MHz in addition to 4.5 to 6.5 Ghz.
