Flex Power Adds Telecom Model to BMR480 DC-DC Converter Series

Flex Power Modules introduced a version of its BMR480 digital DC-DC converter, optimized for telecom applications, with an input voltage range from 36Vin to 60Vin.

Flex Power Modules introduced a version of its BMR480 digital DC-DC converter, optimized for telecom applications, with an input voltage range from 36Vin to 60Vin. The quarter-brick converter has an output voltage of 12V and output power up to 800W (output current up to 69A), with 1500VDC input-to-output isolation.

The BMR480 telecom version offers an efficiency of typically 96.4% at 53V output voltage and half load, with an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The converter provides droop load-sharing capability and monotonic start-up, and offers protection against output over-voltage, short-circuits, and over-temperature conditions.
