The implementation of measurement technology in the producing industries, no matter if its production processes, test series or test stands, is an essential tool nowadays. To quote Luke Schreier (Director of Automated Test Product Marketing at NI) on this subject: "Based on the increasing technology convergences in recent smart devices, test stands and testing systems become more and more complex and even more measurement technology."

There are several solutions approaches for this area. They include extremely expensive signal generators by well established brands, but also highly complex hard- and software solutions. The output of high precision voltage signals in the range of +/-10V with a resolution of 16Bit can be implemented by using the products PCIe-BASE and MDA16-4i.

The motherboard PCIe-Base can be equipped with one or two MDA16-4i output modules, in order to generate 4 respectively 8 analog output signals. In addtion the module slot can be fitted with an analog measurement module of the MADDA16 series. The galvanic separation improves the operation safety and prevents disturbances.

The software NextView 4, also by bmcm rounds this combination off to a perfect solution in order to cover the topics data acquisition and analysis, e.g. in long term measurements and trigger functions.
