VadaTech announced the release of the FMC238 and FMC239, which are a FPGA Mezzanine Cards per VITA 57.1 standard. The units were developed with a small footprint and utilize the ADRV9009 wideband RF transceiver.
Both FMCs operate within a 75 MHz to 6.0 GHz frequency range, in addition to clocking via front panel and internal clocks
The FMC238 uses a single ADRV9009 to provide dual transmitter, receiver, and observation receiver. Further, it uses two of the RF transceivers to provide quad transmitters and receivers without the observation receivers.
The ADRV9009 features dual channel transmitters (TX) and receivers (RX) with integrated synthesizer and digital signal processing functions. Each subsystems includes DC offset correction, quadrature error correction, and programmable digital filters. They also provide Automatic Gain Control and external gain control modes. This allows for flexibility in setting system level gains dynamically.
