AAEON Offering SD-WAN Solutions Powering Work-From-Home Workers

In an effort to help those who are working from home, AAEON is offering a secure network solution with Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN technology).

In an effort to help those who are working from home, AAEON is offering a secure network solution with Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN technology).

The uCPE white box solutions with FWS-7360 and FWS-2360 are used to deploy the SD-WAN infrastructure. The platforms power applications that give users the ability to manage virtual private networks (VPN) for remote connections; virtual firewalls to provide data encryption; and ensure secure VPN connections.

According to the company, features of the FWS-7360 include the following:

  • Seven Ethernet ports (including two 10 GbE optical ports)
  • Two built-in 2.5” SATA hard drives
  • Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports
  • NIM module slot

According to the company, features of the FWS-2360 include the following:

  • Six Ethernet ports (two optical fiber Ethernet ports optional)
  • Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports
  • 16GB eMMC storage or optional 2.5” SATA hard drive
