QuarkLink enables secure chip-to-cloud connectivity at scale with just a few keystrokes.

Crypto Quantique, a company that focuses on quantum-driven cybersecurity, announced it will make its IoT security platform, QuarkLink, available to semiconductor manufacturers and system integrators that use root-of-trust (RoT) solutions.

Differentiating itself for other management platforms, QuarkLink takes care of the provisioning, including secure firmware and cryptographic keys, automated secure onboarding, and security monitoring, including firmware encryption, signing and secure updates over-the-air, and certificate and key renewal and revocation.

It eliminates the necessity of hardware security modules and key injetions.

The security platform can be set up quickly and doesn’t require knowledge of IoT Security. End-point devices are connected to the servers through cryptographic APIs by using a limited number of keystrokes to initiate the automated process.

Per a company press release, AWS, Microsoft, and Mosquito are among the cloud services currently supported. Furthermore, QuarkLink creates a path for upgrading the company’s RoT IP, QDID.

QDID generates cryptographic keys in silicon by measuring quatum effects in chips manufactured on CMOS processes.
