Koenigsegg Automotive AB chose The Qt Company’s cross-platform framework for its in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems and instrument clusters development, as it will support software enhancements of Koenigsegg’s SmartCenter, SmartWheel and SmartCluster products.

Qt’s framework will streamline the production of its next-generation premium IVI systems, creating a more efficient workflow from graphic designer to software developer.

Koenigsegg’s Jesko hypercar model includes a SmartCluster instrument screen that combines the IVI system with the car’s essential components.

Qt also helped generate Koenigsegg’s new touchscreen interface technology for its new SmartCenter and SmartWheel features. The SmartCenter’s unified hardware interface is a nucleus for the entire system, including device connectivity, media playback, vehicle comfort and control systems and the like.
