Five Minutes with Jim Tung, Fellow, MathWorks

February 24, 2015

We cover a lot of development kits on our site (embedded-computing.com). Some people think they're a waste of time, while others think we can no longer live without them. I asked Jim Tung, a Fellow at The MathWorks, his opinion on the value of these kits, as they're a company that makes a significant investment in these products. One important aspect, from a software company's perspective is, which development kit do I support? Finally, we discussed whether engineering is a "glamorous" profession. Jim had a great response to that one.
