Industrial Internet Consortium Releases RFP Toolkit

The Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) announced the release of its IIC RFP Toolkit.

The Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) announced the release of its IIC RFP Toolkit. The toolkit is a collection of best practices and online tools, aimed to helping IIoT project managers, procurement managers, and buyers through the procurement process of components and resources needed to complete end-to-end IIoT solutions.

It is comprised of six modules, all developed by the IIC member ecosystem of IIoT users, vendors, and consultants.

Per an IIC press release, the modules include:

  • Challenges, risks, and mitigation
  • Project planning
  • RFP creation
  • RFP wizard
  • RFP distribution and vendor selection
  • Expert advice and discussion

The toolkit is accessible for free on the IIC Resource Hub, a central repository for the collective resources of the IIC community.
