Olea Edge Analytics released its EdgeWorks Platform 2.0, which combines blockchain, AI, and machine learning technologies to provide advanced solutions for water billing, delivery, and conservation.

Per the company, EdgeWorks provides improved power management, bypass monitoring solution, and new pressure management solution to be able to notify users of issues more efficiently.

The company’s new patented blockchain architecture validates water usage data from when it leaves the meter’s sensors to the time it reaches a consumer. The data within the blockchain ledger, which is encrypted, is distributed across all devices in the network.

Every meter within the network has a digital twin that is created in the EdgeWorks Platform 2.0. A full suite of sensor monitors are also provided for advanced analytics.
