ACEINNA AMR Current Sensors Now Support 3.3V Apps

The ?50, ?20, and ?5A bi-directional current sensors deliver high DC accuracy and dynamic range in both fixed gain and ratiometric gain versions.

ACEINNA’s MCx1101 AMR current sensors now support 3.3V applications, making them suitable for microprocessor and ADC-based power systems. The ±50, ±20, and ±5A bi-directional current sensors deliver high DC accuracy and dynamic range in both fixed gain and ratiometric gain versions.

The MCx1101 current sensors guarantee an offset of ±60mA (±0.3 percent Full Scale Range (FSR)) over temperature, enabling accuracy over a 10:1 range of currents. The ±20A version, for instance, has a typical accuracy of ±0.6 percent with guaranteed accuracies of ±2.0 percent at 85°C.

Other features include:

  • 1.5 MHz signal bandwidth
  • 0.3 µs output step response
  • 4.8kV isolation
  • Integrated overcurrent detection flag with 0.2 µs response time

MCx1101 devices are implemented in a SOIC-16 package with 0.9 mΩ impedance current path. They are available now in volume quantities.
