Farzad Zarrinfar, Semiconductor executive, joins Voler Systems board

Mr. Zarrinfar brings more than three decades of semiconductor industry experience in design and executive roles to his position on Voler's Board of Directors.

Voler Systems is pleased to announce that Farzad Zarrinfar has joined their Board. Voler Systems is a growing electronic design consulting company that specializes in wearable and IoT devices for the medical and consumer industries. They are experts in sensors, wireless, motion control and power management.

Mr. Zarrinfar brings more than three decades of semiconductor industry experience in design and executive roles to his position on Voler's Board of Directors. He will provide fresh insights to our customer engagement and business priorities as Voler continues to grow solutions in embedded hardware and software in target markets, at an accelerated pace.

Mr. Zarrinfar runs the Memory IP group at Mentor, a Siemens business. From 2006 to 2011 he was president & CEO of Novelics before it was acquired by Mentor, and prior to that he was VP of Worldwide Sales at ARC International and VP of Strategic Marketing at Sony America. Earlier he held director-level positions for sales and marketing at Samsung Semiconductor and was a marketing manager at LSI Logic. He started his career as an electrical engineer, working at Lockheed Martin and Texas Instruments. Mr. Zarrinfar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University, a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University (SMU), and an MBA degree from the University of Phoenix.
