Digi International released its Digi IX10 industrial router. Built to provide connectivity in industrial infrastructures, the newest member of the Digi IX industrial cellular router family, can operate well with digital signage, asset monitoring, and retail applications.

The IX10 fully integrate with the Digi Remote Manager, the company’s device management cloud platform. Remote Manager adds visibility into group configurations, monitoring, and control of devices with a single console or integration into enterprise systems.

Further, traffic analysis and bandwidth monitoring through NetFlow is provided, all while device security, identity, and data privacy is provided through Digi TrustFence, the company’s security framework.

Per Digi, the router features LTE Cat 4 connectivity with a single SKU/ Additionally, it will support RS-232/485 for out-of-band (OOB) management scenarios, as well as Modbus for use within industrial settings such as utility meters and reclosers, oilfield applications, and industrial automation.

Reliable cellular connections are provided through dual SIM slots and Digi SureLink with exceptional failover to maintain uptime via cellular carriers.
