Conrad Business Supplies presents the latest trends and innovative solutions at embedded world 2018

Embedded and programmable technologies, measurement technology, soldering technology and 3D printing will be presented as trade fair highlights

Conrad Business Supplies will once again be exhibiting at embedded world in Nuremberg (February 27 to March 1, 2018). On its more than 100 m2 exhibition stand in Hall 3, Stand 145, the Distributor will present its technical expertise as well as product and solution offerings in the fields of embedded and programmable technologies, measurement technology, soldering technology and 3D printing to trade visitors from research and development as well as embedded designers ,

Among other things, Conrad Business Supplies will use this year's embedded world to demonstrate interesting product highlights from the development of its own in-house team at the Conrad Technology Center (CTC). This year's highlight from the range of exclusive in-house developments is the new 3D printer RF2000 V2 with dual-extruder technology, which visitors to the trade fair can experience live in action.

Compared to its predecessor, the 3D printer model RF2000 V2 has revised object ventilation for improved print quality as well as an enlarged print area of ??180 mm x 260 mm x 185 mm (X, Y, Z axis). A redesigned print bed also provides ideal print results for the RF2000 V2 with the latest V3 Hotend, even for demanding models. In addition to numerous other improvements, the new device is now also available as a single-extruder version.

As a further highlight, Conrad Business Supplies will show and demonstrate the new TOOLCRAFT high-frequency soldering stations. Compared to conventional solutions, the high-frequency soldering stations can be used to achieve better and faster soldering results for large solder pads that require a large amount of heat or energy.

Conrad Business Supplies also demonstrates the C-Control Hexapod robot board. It enables the construction of a proprietary Hexapod robot and opens up additional combination possibilities with various microcontroller boards such as Arduino UNO and single board computers such as Raspberry Pi. As an example application live on the stand, the "Spider" is an in-house development from the Conrad Technology Center. It is operated in addition to the Hexapod board with the STMicroelectronics' Nucleo Board. This robot will also be demonstrated at STMicroelectronics' ST ST booth in the FAN ZONE in Hall 4A-238.

The Conrad Business Supplies booth will feature live lectures from leading component manufacturers, including Panasonic, Würth Elektronik, and partners such as Google and Youki on Blockchain. In addition, Conrad's own topics such as the Conrad B2B Marketplace with already 1.2 million products are explained.

Also, the opportunity to experience products from brands such as Texas Instruments, Digilent, 4D Systems, Flir and National Instruments Live and in the application, will be on the stand of Conrad Business Supplies. Trade visitors can also interact with distributor experts and get to know the Conrad Business Supplies range of services - such as the PCB service with Eurocircuits as a strong partner, which now also has a fitting service.

To find out more about the Conrad B2B Marketplace, visitors to the fair can visit the local distributor. On this occasion they can also inform themselves about possibilities of participation as well as the simple order.

Interested parties who simply want to immerse themselves in Conrad's range of components will find the book Research & Development 2017/18 a comprehensive reference work with 2,800 pages about components and accessories. The book is available as a copy and can be ordered directly at the exhibition stand.

"Embedded World has established itself as an indispensable showcase for the embedded and related industries for many years and is one of the most important trade fairs in the B2B sector for us," says Stefan Fuchs, vice president of business supplies at Conrad. "We have to use this opportunity again this year to bring developers the latest trends from our range of products."
