Redpine’s RS9116N-DBT makes it possible to have devices provide multi-protocol wireless, low power, high data performance, and the ability to offer whole home coverage all at the same time.
It is a SoC device that provides Wi-Fi, BT 5, Thread, a power MCU and dedicated security processors, using very little energy, thus improving battery life.
The RS9116N-DBT SoC enables the functionality of multiple wireless protocols, causing the device to switch from end node to router, providing continuous network coverage.
The chip includes essential protocol stacks so that it can control high throughput of up to 50 Mbps, enabling HD video streaming or gaming while in Wi-Fi mode.
