Winmate announces the release of M101P-ME, a brand new medically certified 10.1-inch rugged tablet for healthcare applications.

The M101P-ME is a tablet computer in a rugged form-factor with housing enhanced with antibacterial properties to minimize bacteria growth. The housing is resistant to a variety of cleaning chemicals and has an IP65-rated waterproof design that allows cleaning its surface with wipes, sprays and liquids without a concern of affecting the internal components. This mobile and portable device weighting at just 1.2 kg (2.7 pounds) is flexible enough to function as a standalone device and competent enough to be used for all sorts of data collection applications, patient care, and information management and wireless communications in medical environments.

The processing power comes from Intel® Apollo Lake Pentium N4200 processor paired with genuine Intel's graphics for high performance. The standard configuration features 4 GB SODIMM DDR3L-1600 system memory and 128 GB solid state drive (SSD). The M101P-ME supports Windows 10 IoT Enterprise operating system.

The tablet features a crystal clear 10.1-inch IPS display with LED backlight, optical bonding, and anti-glare solution, which is sunlight readable for both indoor and outdoor applications, and offers a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution. The tablet is also equipped with ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyro, acceleration sensors, and supports automatic screen rotation.

For wireless connectivity, the M101P-ME comes with built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and GLONASS. The 3G or 4G/ LTE are available by request. The tablet also features 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED light and 2-megapixel webcam with built-in dual digital microphone and noise cancellation for conference and video calls. Additional options such as built-in 1D/ 2D barcode reader and HF RFID reader are available for excessive data collection applications.

Paired with Winmate's medically certified vehicle dock, an optional accessory for M101P-ME, the tablet can be mounted inside an ambulance vehicle or used in mobile medical cart workstations for hospitals and clinics. The vehicle dock keeps the tablet securely fastened on a moving vehicle, accepts wide power input 9-36V DC and provides additional interfaces for a tablet computer.
