Smith will be showcasing its supply chain service offerings at the upcoming COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2023. Demonstrations in booth 10020 will consist of procurement, lifecycle management, and in-house testing and inspection capabilities.

Rafael Sotomayor, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Secure Connected Edge of NXP Semiconductors will be on hand at Computex 2023 addressing visitors with a keynote on the theme Ecosystems to Master Complexity. During Computex 2023, DEEPX will exhibit its AI chip solutions and edge AI technologies. Arteris, Inc. announced Tenstorrent is leveraging its Ncore and FlexNoC interconnect IP for its AI chiplet systems. The results is a flexible network-on-chip (NoC) interconnect for next generation AI solutions. The combination of Tenstorrent’s AI chiplet’s and RISC-V's openness are tailored specifically to users’ requirements.

Boardcon has started to deliver its PICO3566 SOM, a 67.6 x 32 mm form factor substitute for the Raspberry Pi CM3+. The SOM leverages ARM’s Mali-G52-2EE GPU and has capabilities to reach 1 TOPS with supplied NPU. The SoC is a Rockchip RK3566, Quad-core Cortex-A55 64-bit SoC at 1.8 GHz and was developed for neural network applications including intelligent interactive devices, IoT devices, personal computers, and robots. 

San Francisco, California. ObfusCat developed an algorithm to hide semantic proprietary code for sustaining more accurate and secure results from ChatGPT searches. The algorithm conceals and opens functions locally on users’ system with efficacy focused on security.

Taipei, Taiwan. Lanner Electronics expanded its portfolio with its EAI-I131, a video analysis edge AI platform for industrial solutions. It delivers up to 100 TOPS of AI computing courtesy of the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano or Jetson Orin NX system-on-modules.

Qeexo, a TDK group company, released an automated ML platform for Arm Keil MDK delivering an extensive range of ML algorithms developed for the Cortex-M0 to -M4 class processors. It is designed to promptly analyze sensor data for ML solutions.

Taipei, Taiwan. TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) will discuss how intelligent computing and generative AI will be advancing at Computex 2023. TAITRA has invited keynote speakers from Qualcomm to discuss its latest innovations.

Brussels, Belgium. Linux Foundation Europe released the names of member's that have joined Linux Foundation Europe Advisory Board (LFEAB). Representatives from 20 leading EU members, and the UK, are differentiated by industry and size. The goal is to collaborate on the future of open-source with a community expanding from 100 partners. 

Oakland, California, and Portland Maine. Deloitte released a collective assessment showing 86% of enterprises are looking toward smart factories as the dominate driver of competition by 2025. However, 65% reported they have not made much, if any, progress. Element and HighByte  are delivering an integrated solution based on AWS's Industrial Data Fabric. "Together, HighByte and Element leverage the power of AWS to provide industrial organizations a solution to free their trapped plant data and turn it into business value," said Andy Bane, CEO of Element.

The annual RT-Thread Global Tech Conference (RGTC) joins developers from around the globe to share expertise on the latest developments in RT-Thread basic software technology. The goal of the RGTC is to foster collaboration between developers and what innovations they are working on.

The Apache Superset data visualization and exploration tool has been forked more than 10,000 on GitHub and amassed well over 50K stars (bookmarking and appreciation) on the popular code-sharing platform. But the tool was recently found to have a critical vulnerability, CVE-2023-27524, which has already been identified in more than 3000 separate occurrences.

Arlington, Virginia. Kinetica released the first analytic database integrating ChatGPT based in 'conversational querying'. ChatGPT will answer complex queries on data within seconds, and the front-end interface adapts natural language to Structured Query Language (SQL). Kinetica’s logical database was designed for true ad-hoc querying at speed and scale, resulting in a more innate and interactive means of analyzing complex data sets.

San Francisco, California. The Open Source Security Foundation (OpenSSF) has published ratification 1.0 of Supply-chain Levels for Software Artifacts (SLSA). The OpenSSF SLSA solution delivers specifications for software supply chain security. The specifications are designed utilizing the expertise of community members.

Leawood, Kansas. Developers of of Data Infrastructure AI, Torch.AI, has been approved for a new patent, No. 11556695. The patent covers 'Combinatorial Inflight Analysis of Multipart Data' utilizing learned machine models for instantly analyzing data streams.

Taipei, Taiwan. ASUS and ROG will be back at Computex 2023 demonstrating its innovative and sustainable solutions. ASUS will be located in booth M0510 and the ROG booth will be in M0810. Attendees will view the latest in consumer, gaming, creator, and commercial products.

New York. Datadog, Inc. made available its Data Streams Monitoring designed to make tracking and managing solutions, using messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ, easier to integrate into your environments.

Sophia Antipolis. ETSI announced its Protection Profile (PP) for the security assessment of quantum key distribution (QKD) modules, ETSI GS QKD 016. It focuses on quantum safe cryptography and assists manufacturers in submitting pairs of QXD modules for the security certification process.
