Arlington, Virginia. Kinetica developed a native Large Language Model (LLM) and integrated it with its innovative architecture for real-time data analysis. The LLM runs SQL-GPT for an overall enhancement in security and the needed power and resources to return answers within seconds. An outside API call is unnecessary facilitating the management of all data internally. The solution is ideal for telecommunications, financial services, automotive, and logistics.

Taipei, Taiwan. Artila released its HC-3120, a touch panel that delivers a 12” TFT LCD display supporting Linux environments.The panels leverage Arm's Cortex-A8 TI AM3354. 

By now, we all know that no matter the precautions, there will always be a way in, a way you haven’t thought of, a way to breach and control your connected … everything. To highlight these every changing vulnerabilities, whether minor or major, and promote overall secure IoT environments, the Zero Day Initiative (ZDI) organized a Pwn2Own competition in Toronto, to dive deeper into the machines we employ everyday and show how vulnerable we are when everything is connected. ZDI informed the participating teams that they will need to take their shared knowledge and apply it to printers, network-attached storage (NAS) devices, routers, and smart speakers.

Atlanta, Georgia. Recently, SlateSafety attained SOC 2 Type 2 certification leveraging the highest specifications into robust data security. To achieve SOC 2 Type 2 Certification, an abundance of testing and evaluations from third-party auditors are performed to ensure a solution is meeting or exceeding industry standards. Intel is growing its compact Agilex FPGA family and enhancing its Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) for innovative AI technology. Included is Intel’s Open FPGA Stack (OFS) to open source. The new FPGAs include Agilex 3 FPGA and Agilex 5 FPGA E-Series.

Atmosic Technologies and Nichicon Corporation are collaborating on energy harvesting solutions for compact IoT components. Nichicon’s Lithium Titanate Rechargeable Battery (SLB) technology and Atmosic’s ATM33e series Bluetooth energy harvesting SoCs are designed for wearables and Bluetooth devices. They include Arm Cortex-M33F microcontroller, 1536MB of non-volatile memory, and 128KB of RAM.

Portwell is delivering its new 125mm x 95mm Intel Xeon D-1700 powered PCOM-B705GT, a COM Express Type 7 Basic Size module with industrial server-grade power and enhanced temperature protocol utilizing 4 to 10 computing cores. The solution was developed for applications ranging from edge deployments to data centers, cloud, using innovative AI capabilities for a real-time platform.

Bellevue, Washington. 5G Open Innovation Lab (5G OI Lab) is welcoming AT&T and Comcast to its innovation ecosystem. Additionally, 5G OI Lab has released the startups who will be joining its Batch #8 cohort, the largest yet with $313M raised and 17 new startups, adding to the total of 118 enterprises currently participating in the open environment.

A purchase from earlier this year seeing Imagimob being obtained from Infineon has now started to see fruition. Infineon’s ModusToolbox Software is being integrated with Imagimob’s ML development system. The solution is a reliable cost-efficient way to develop AI-based machine learning models for in-house IP design.

Vecow and Stereolabs have partnered to design solutions that combines Vecow Edge AI platforms and Stereolabs’ ZED stereo cameras for spatial AI applications and fast-tracking 3D vision innovations. Vecow leverages an NVIDIA Jetson Orin and NVIDIA Jetson Xavier environment in its EAC-6000, EAC-5000, EAC-3000, and EAC-2000 Series.

Munich, Germany. TASKING’s static software analysis tool, the Safety Checker, has been upgraded to v3.0 including Freedom from Interference (FFI) technology. Its Safety Checker utilizes compiled statistical code analysis to base assessments on what it detects as critical memory violations and proactively integrates software components with differing safety needs in memory, even with no MPU (Memory Protection Unit) available. A list of memory violations is generated reducing the amount of time it takes to debug possible infractions. 

Grenoble, Frrance. IC’Alps has created an innovative design facility in Toulouse, France comprising of more than 30 engineers focused on automotive needs such as analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits. IC’Alps is staging itself to be an inventive ASIC Design House in EMEA, and pushing boundaries on led drivers, power management, and high-voltage supplies for automotive solutions.

Sunnyvale, California. Synopsys, Inc. is extending its Synopsys.ai full-stack EDA suite with a complete AI-driven data analytics scale for all stages of integrated circuit (IC) chip design. The solution delivers the ability to create multi-domain data collection and analyzation through AI-driven protocols and methods allowing chip engineers a workflow that is optimized with reliable debug options.  

ARIES Embedded announced that Emcraft Systems is now in its network of partners. Emcraft Systems designs, manufactures, and sells system-on-modules (SoMs) based on Arm Cortex-M microcontrollers and Cortex-A microprocessors. The modules utilize Linux Board Support Packages (BSPs).

GrammaTech currently, and still will, develop and integrate new advancements for the U.S. defense sectors.

Taipei, Taiwan. Cincoze started the delivery of its M1101 monitor module. The M1101 features a Convertible Display System (CDS, Patent Number: M482908) combining differing touch monitors to create an application specific system. Available peripherals include rugged edge ready monitors that prove to be up to 1,800 nits bright and sunlight-readable for use in outdoor environments.

Semtech Corporation  and Oxit are now collaborating on a solution that gives manufacturers a way to network both AWS IoT Core for Amazon Sidewalk and AWS IoT Core for LoRaWAN networks. Customers receive a singular device to network IoT cloud endpoints with AWS IoT Core for LoRaWAN networks. 90% of the U.S. population has ability for coverage on Amazon Sidewalk, a long-range and low-bandwidth community network.

Cincoze released its DIAMOND DS-1400 Series of industrial computer modules. The modules are designed for enhanced power while offering PCIe expansion. That power is derived from a 12th gen Intel Alder Lake-S processor with the Intel 7 process, delivering a max out at 16 cores (8P + 8E) with DDR5 memory up to 64GB, 4800MHz, ECC technology.

Wincomm released a new family of stainless steel touch panel PCs powered by Intel’s 12th Generation Alder Lake IP66/67/69K.
