Swift will appear on the first day with a staged interview with Electronics Weekly’s Editor Caroline Hayes discussing his career including his time as a stunt driver for Top Gear and Fast & Furious.  

Antenova introduced the Gatun (SR42I110) ISM antenna covering bands 863-870 MHz and 902–928 MHz, including LoRa, Sigfox, and Zigbee. It belongs to Antenova’s lamiiANT family that is constructed with fiberglass material meeting general automotive temperature ratings. Compared to previous efficiency ratings of ISM antennas, the Gatun maintains 72.5 percent (ISM 863 MHz) and 78 percent (ISM 915 MHz) on PCB while measuring 26 x 7.6 x 3.1 mm.

RuggON, a subsidiary of Ubiqconn Technology, has made a couple of announcements recently about new products in AI for fleet management.

Terasic released its Atum A3 Nano development kit leveraging Altera’s largest Agilex 3 FPGA with 135K logic elements. The board features 64MB of SDRAM, an onboard USB-Blaster III with USB Type-C connection, HDMI output, Gigabit Ethernet, and MicroSD storage in an 85mm x 70mm form factor.

Austin, Texas. Silicon Labs recently publicized that part of its Series 3 platform, the SiXG301 SoC has become the world’s first PSA Certified Level 4 iSE/SE certified device. Introduced with two designations, iSE/SE for secure elements and ROT for Root of Trust, Level 4 extends resilience against laser fault injection, side-channel attacks, microprobing, and voltage manipulation.

Goodram Enterprise released a new SSD portfolio that includes enterprise-class SSDs developed for high performance, security, and continuous operation in mission-critical environments. The drives consist of innovative technologies and are available to fit specific uses.

Horw, Switzerland. Toradex is partnering with QNX to aid manufacturers in meeting the rigorous demands of the ratified ISO 10218 standard for industrial robotics safety. The new ISO 10218-1 and 10218-2 standards introduce more demanding frameworks for safety, including complete risk assessments, stricter verification of safety functions, better conventions for human-robot collaboration, and integrated cybersecurity procedures. Compliance requires achieving IEC 61508 SIL 3 rating.

Blaize Holdings, Inc. announced its Blaize AI Platform built to supply multimodal intelligence for mission-critical workloads across various markets. It is engineered to promote AI into industrial applications with seamless deployment. The platform was designed to circumvent passive data collection with proactive intelligence at scale.

OmniPreSense Corporation released information that its OPS9243-A radar sensor is now able to provide vehicle speed data directly into the Verkada Command dashboard allowing Verkada users real-time speed information along with high-quality video for a full traffic monitoring platform.

Point2 Technology and Foxconn Interconnect Technology (FIT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote the standardization of next-generation Active RF Cable (ARC) and Near Pluggable e-Tube (NPE) solutions. The agreement brings an innovative class of cable interconnects to support the growing need for higher-performance interconnects within hyperscale data centers.

Teradyne, Inc. announced the Magnum 7H, an innovative memory tester developed to withstand the hefty demands of testing high bandwidth memory (HBM) devices integrated with GPUs and accelerators in next-generation generative AI servers. It offers high-parallelism, high-speed, and high-accuracy testing for HBM stacked die at scale.

Wanzl introduced its “SlidingDoor” solution, engineered for contemporary entrance and exit areas and is ideal for companies with high security and convenience necessities. With independent opening and closing mechanism of the sliding doors, access areas can be limited or flows of people can be managed efficiently and free of barriers.

In Q3 of 2025, it is expected that VersaLogic Corp. will be releasing the Sabertooth AI Lite, a new device in the Sabertooth AI family engineered for modest computing within fiscally responsible AI applications. It is powered by a Quad-Core i3 Coffee Lake CPU and an NVIDIA RTX A500 GPU housed in a compact form factor.

Ampex Data Systems released the compact TuffCORD X, the innovative drop-in replacement for the TuffCORD. The solution supports improved NVMe architecture, enhanced storage density, and a high-speed 10-gigabit payload interface.

Advantech introduced two new compact Computer-on-Modules in the AOM series, the AOM-5521 Smart Mobility Architecture (SMARC) and AOM-2521 Open Standard Module (OSM). Both harness the power and enhanced abilities of the NXP i.MX 95 processor family, featuring a multi-domain architecture with up to six Arm Cortex-A55 cores operating at up to 2.0 GHz with a committed 2-TOPS NPU boosted for Linux-based edge applications.

Taipei, Taiwan. IBASE Technology Inc. introduced its AMD Ryzen Embedded R2000 powered CP100 ultra-compact rugged embedded edge computer, engineered for long term dependability in space-constrained environments. It supports three chipset configurations, enabling designers to have the ability to model computing performance to explicit application needs.

KIOXIA America, Inc.  has started sampling new Universal Flash Storage (UFS) Ver. 4.1 embedded memory devices engineered for automotive applications. Designed to meet the rigid demands of next-generation in-vehicle systems, the devices offer substantial performance, flexibility, and diagnostic enhancements, powered by KIOXIA’s 8th generation BiCS FLASH 3D flash memory technology and in-house engineered controller technology.

Berlin, Germany. Ferrous Systems revealed it has joined the Scalable Open Architecture for Embedded Edge (SOAFEE) initiative. SOAFEE is a global, industry-led cooperation aiming to define open, cloud-native software standards for software-defined vehicles (SDVs) and embedded edge environments. Ferrous Systems offers extensive knowledge in Rust and safety-critical tooling, including Ferrocene, the first qualified, open source Rust compiler toolchain.

Qdrant revealed the private beta of Qdrant Edge, a lightweight, embedded vector search engine developed for AI systems operating on components including robots, point of sales, home assistants, and mobile phones. It delivers vector-based retrieval to resource-constrained ecosystems where low latency, limited compute, and limited network access are essential restrictions.
