GIGAIPC released its ATX-Q670A Motherboard leveraging 12th generation Intel Core processors and the Q670 chipset. The ATX-Q670A includes dual 2.5 Gigabit LAN and four dual-channel DDR4 DIMM sockets supporting up to 128 GB for fast and efficient data processing. The platform is ideal for integrating cameras, lighting, and other components critical for machine vision applications.

Raspberry Pi RP2040 core is leading the way for the Kickstarter Trekko GPS Logger, a tracking device that monitors and tracks assets and ecosystems. Amrit Singh, creator of the solution, wanted to provide a flexible and low-cost platform for any number of applications.

Variscite introduced its VAR-SOM-MX93, an NXP i.MX93 based SoM with NXP-based Wi-Fi 6 module. The SoM leverages a 1.7GHz Dual Cortex-A55 NXP’s iMX93 processor with 250MHz Cortex-M33 and the first integration of Arm’s neural processing unit, Ethos-U65 microNPU. Benefits of utilizing Wi-Fi 6 includes extended bandwidth, improved range, better simultaneous stream capabilities, lower latency, and optimized power management.

Armonk, New York. IBM updated its managed detection and response service by integrating it with AI. Included in the Threat Detection and Response Services (TDR) are continuous monitoring, investigation, and automated remedy of possible intrusions. The TDR is spread across all hybrid cloud ecosystems comprising of on-premise and operational technologies (OT). The solution leverages several levels of AI and relative risk management for security support around the globe.

Chandler, Arizona. Microchip’s RT PolarFire FPGAs are now certified QML Class Q. Standard MIL-STD-883B for QML Class Q certification confirms the utilization and safety of microelectronic devices in military and aerospace applications. Testing of devices include assessments based on the harsh unexpected environments of defense and space. The achievement allows developers to integrate the RT PolarFire FPGA in applications easier than before.  

To promote the further development of automated optical inspection (AOI), Cincoze released its DS-1400 Series, a PCIe high-performing embedded platform, and the newest member of the DIAMOND family of rugged computing systems. The DS-1400 is powered by the Intel 12th gen Alder Lake-S with up to 16 cores (8P + 8E). Also supported is 64GB of DDR5 memory at up to 4800MHz with ECC and two supplied PCI/PCIe expansion slots. Sunnyvale, California. Intrinsic ID is now the first IP supplier to attain PSA Certified Level 3 Root of Trust (RoT) Component Certification with its QuiddiKey 300 based on its PUF Technology. The QuiddiKey 300 utilizes varying SRAM start-up values as a PUF to create a strong root of trust mitigating attacks. The solution ensures supply chain integrity, chiplet security, and protection against reverse engineering.

Leveraging the Portenta X8 SOM, designers have the ability to manage device authentication, secure storage, provisioning, a SBOM, and OTA updating, in one cloud platform.

Taipei, Taiwan. ADATA is now offering a special polymer coating for all of its products. The surface of the PCBA is covered in coating to protect SSD/DRAM printed circuit boards and components from surrounding environmental challenges. ADATA chooses polydimethylsiloxane formulations with quick-drying and moisture-proof properties to deliver a specific coat thickness depending on application use.

Sfera Labs' servers, embedded systems, I/O modules, and sensors are now available from Digi-Key’s online store. Included in the catalogue, the Strato Pi, Iono, and Exo Sense, are based on the open-source Raspberry Pi and Arduino platforms and are suitable for industrial automation, IoT, and edge computing.

Rutronik stated it will now be delivering MediaTek’s range of Genio processors in Europe and Israel. The platforms are designed with robotics, industrial automation, and IoT applications in mind. Able to utilize Yocto Linux, Ubuntu, and Android, the processors aid in lowering cost and time to market. "As the largest European distributor, Rutronik will help us to further expand our IoT footprint in the region," said Richard Lu, Vice President of MediaTek’s IoT Business Unit.

St. Julians, Malta. SmartCow has designed a smart spray system to address the future problem have fewer farmers. SmartCow collaborated with a customer and created an innovative spray system for industrial-grade tractor boom sprayers. The solution can deliver a specific quantity of spray with suitable coverage in a quick amount of time. To complete the job, the sprayer integration leverages MARS, SmartCow’s NVIDIA Jetson AGX OrinTM IoT platform, and 12 camera sensors.

Manchester, Massachusetts. Blues released a new family of its widely used Notecard solution. The series consists of the Notecard Cell+WiFi, Notecard WiFi, Notecard LoRa, and Notecard Chips Editions. The Notecard devices deliver hybrid networking, position accuracy, and development to scale.   

Sophia Antipolis, France. Insight SiP released its 12 x 12 x 1.5 mm ISP3080 UWB-BLE module delivering system in package technology integrating RF minituraizations. The module includes Insight SiP’s proprietary “Antenna-in-Package”. The ISP3080 utilizes Qorvo’s Ultra-Wideband (UWB) QM31100 UWB chip and Nordic Semiconductor’s nRF52833 Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device.

Taipei, Taiwan. ASRock Industrial partnered with Intel and designed FIDO Device Onboarding (FDO)-enabled device series, which for now, includes the iEP-5000G Industrial IoT Controller powered by Intel Atom x6000E Series. The FDO-enabled devices allow users to leverage the complete capability of IoT security through efficient automated onboarding.

Seoul, South Korea, and San Jose, California. AiM Future is excited about its new family of NeuroMosAIc Processors boasting a 60% increase of performance over earlier designs. AiM Future has developed three solutions as part of its new family, the ultra-low power NMP-350, the efficient NMP-550, and an edge deployed focused NMP-750. The platforms support NeuroMosAIc Studio enabling accelerated AI applications in computer vision, audio, and multi-sensor fusion.

Estone Technology released its PPC-4910 family, a Power over Ethernet (PoE) designed industrial touch panel PC product line built leveraging NXP’s i.MX8M Plus Quad Core ARM utilizing an integrated AI/ML Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to create a solution for machine vision, edge AI, and other applications where multimedia is required. Included are two MIPI CSI camera interfaces and dual Image Signal Processors (ISPs).
