QuickLogic Corporation released its eFPGA Hard IP optimized for Intel 18A technology to a client that chose QuickLogic's IP for its Test Chip. According to QuickLogic, this is the first time eFPGA Hard IP has been supplied for a sub-5nm process node. This solution is expected to set new standards for low power consumption, high performance, and ideal silicon area utilization (PPA).

Crypto Quantique recently disclosed an independent analysis of its QuarkLink end-to-end device security platform conducted by cetome, a cybersecurity advisory firm. The report looked at QuarkLink’s effectiveness within seven key aspects of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) compliance.

New Eagle announced its Raptor High-Performance Compute Platform. It is a GPU-enabled embedded controller built on a vision processing unit (VPU) from John Deere and introduces a significant expansion in the capabilities of New Eagle’s embedded control ecosystem. The platform supports up to 275 TOPS of processing power and incorporates up to 12 GMSL2 camera inputs with Power-over-Coax (PoC) technology.

Cybord launched ShieldScan, its innovative visual-AI printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) inspection solution supporting next-generation visibility and security in electronics manufacturing. ShieldScan delivers automated PCBA mapping, real-time anomaly detection, and 100% board verification to protect manufacturers from tampering and supply chain vulnerabilities. According to Cybord, ShieldScan gives manufacturers the power to verify the integrity of every circuit board by detecting even the smallest modifications.

 

Taipei, Taiwan. IBASE Technology Inc. released its compact and durable edge AI system, the EC3100, leveraging NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX and Orin Nano modules to support real-time AI workloads at the edge. Performance is delivered by up to an 8-core Arm Cortex-A78AE processor and a 1024-core Ampere GPU with 32 Tensor Cores.

Laguna Hills, California. BrainChip Holdings Ltd released information it is now integrating Andes Technology’s RISC-V cores with its NPUs. According to the press release, the companies will exhibit BrainChip’s Akida AKD1500 on Andes’ QiLai Voyager Board and AndesCore AX45MP 64-bit multicore CPU IP at Andes RISC-V Con 2025 in San Jose, Calif. April 29 and in Hsinchu, Taiwan June 10.

InnoVEX will hold an exhibition at COMPUTEX 2025 from May 20 to 23 at Taipei Nangang Hall 2, celebrating a decade of innovative startups and spotlighting the next wave of technology breakthroughs. On April 30^th, the Cerebro clusterboard will launch on Kickstarter from the independent, community-driven Dutch team at Sparklab Solutions. The clusterboard supports up to four interchangeable modules such as NVIDIA Jetson NX, Raspberry Pi CM4/CM5, to Radxa CM5 connected on a single board with USB3.1 Gen2 / HDMI multiplexers, M.2 storage and expansion per node, and an upgradable BMC (Board Management Controller) in a micro-ATX based form factor to fit a 1U rack case.

GÖPEL has introduced streaming capabilities to its FlashFOX universal programmer. FlashFOX now retrieves programming data directly from a central server, allowing for up-to-date, centralized, and real-time flash programming.

Axiomtek announced its newest micro ATX motherboard, the MMB566, designed for rugged environments and leveraging the 14th/13th/12th Gen Intel Core i9/i7/i5/i3 or Celeron processors with the Intel Q670E, R680E, or H610E chipset. The MMB566 was developed for the utilization in remote control and automated test equipment.

DFRobot has deployed its LattePanda Delta and LattePanda Sigma single-board computers along with its innovative environmental sensors, in the European Space Agency's (ESA) newly unveiled 28-square-meter FLEXHab lunar training habitat.

Witekio, an Avnet subsidiary, announced it has joined a strategic collaboration with Canonical, the publisher of Ubuntu, to introduce various innovations for the fast growing embedded and IoT markets. Witekio is already an authorized provider for Ubuntu Pro for Devices, Canonical’s comprehensive subscription for open-source security.

Adelsbach released version 1.1 of its high-speed, low-latency Math Vector Library delivering vectorized mathematical functions enhanced for marginal instruction and resource utilization. It ensures compatibility from embedded devices to supercomputing environments, supporting numerous platforms with consistent C/C++ and Fortran APIs.

Altera Corporation is now distributing its Agilex 7 FPGA M-Series, showcasing support for DDR5 and LPDDR5 memory enhancements. The series is ideal for applications requiring high memory needs including AI, data centers, firewalls, 5G, and 8K enabled components. Agilex 7 FPGA M-Series delivers reliable logic while reducing memory challenges such as latency.

FORTEC Group released its SBCPRO-X51, a 3.5” single board computer powered by the Intel Atom x7211RE “Amston Lake-N” processor for efficiency when low power consumption is required. The board supports M.2 expansion slots to meet a variety of applications and includes an option for the USB-C M.2 module, allowing developers to link a display, touch interface, and power utilizing a single USB-C cable for a seamless integration with minimal wire and mechanical challenges.

Wincomm released its WMP-109, a 10.1” fanless HMI panel PC leveraging the Intel Alder Lake-N N97 processor operating up to 3.6 GHz supporting DDR5 SO-DIMM (up to 16 GB) and a M.2 M-key 2280 SSD (defaulted 128 GB NVMe) for efficient storage. Interfaces include two USB 3.2 Gen 2, two USB 2.0, one RS232/422/485 COM port, two HDMI outputs, two RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet ports, and optional M.2 Wi-Fi/Bluetooth modules.

Axiomtek released the mBOX603, powered by 13th Gen Intel Core processor with up to 64GB of DDR4 memory and dual PCIe x16 expansion slots. The platform addresses challenges in medical AI imaging by being a critical link between image-generating devices and hospital information systems.

During Automate 2025 in Detroit, Michigan, on May 12th to the 15th, Cincoze will exhibit its portfolio of industrial embedded computing solutions centered around the theme “Edge AI, Smart Integration”.
