CES 2023. LIPS and Ambarella announced the new CV2 CVflow edge AI perception SoC based LIPSedge S-series 3D Stereo Camera. LIPS will be highlighting the S-Series during CES 2023. The solution combines high-resolution 2D and 3D image processing in one camera for machine vision applications. “By working with an industrial AI perception processing leader like Ambarella, we were able to come up with this next-gen 3D camera design that powers both 2D and 3D image processing on a single camera,” said Luke Liu, CEO of LIPS Corporation. “Adding this AI sensor fusion capability to our camera portfolio dramatically changes the machine vision landscape going forward.”

At CES 2023, eYs3D is revealing its modular platform-as-a-service (PaaS) XINK Development kit for future autonomous robotic environments including AIoT, smart city, indoor cleaning robots, and outdoor agricultural robots. Robotics as a Service (RaaS) will be influenced by both, the industrial and retail markets, and improved robot vision from eYs3D will ease some of the development pain.

WebMob Technologies will display its newly developed ready-to-launch solutions at CES 2023. Exhibited solutions will cover AI, AR, and future transportation for online operation. Palo Alto, CA. EverCharge will launch its COVE, a single-family home charging solution, during CES 2023. The easy to integrate COVE is capable of high-speed charging and cooperates with all EVs available today. According to Jason Appelbaum, CEO of EverCharge, “At EverCharge, we are committed to ensuring every community can participate in the transition to electric mobility – and single-family home charging options are critical to empowering drivers to charge when and where they need.”

During CES, at booth #4417 in the West Hall, dSPACE will be highlighting how its simulation and validation platforms are used in the Indy Autonomous Challenge (IAC) as well as how to get electric and autonomous vehicles to road capable in a shorter time. 

SEOUL, South Korea. Magnachip unveiled its MDT15N054PTRH, an eighth-generation 150V MXT Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor (MOSFET) enhanced for Light Electric Vehicle (LEV) motor controllers, and battery management systems (BMSs) lowering R_DS(on) by 28%.

TQ-Embedded released its TQMxE41S, a SMARC 2.1 compatible integrated module powered by the Intel Atom processors x7000E Series, Intel Core i3-N305, and Intel Processor N Series. With an increase in AI acceleration, the TQMxE41S utilizes a multitude of interfaces including 2 x 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, 4 x PCIe, USB 3.2, and SATA, all confined in a small form factor while supporting next-generation LPDDR5-4800 memory and up to 256 GB Industrial iNAND eMMC.

Tokyo, Japan. In Spring 2023 eSOL will issue the latest versions of its CC-Link IE TSN SDK supporting CC-Link IE TSN, specified by the CC-Link Partner Association. It proliferates a shorter development time for industrial devices supporting the standards set for CC-Link IE TSN to enable communication for factory automation and IT environments.

Geneva. STMicroelectronics’ developed the STNRG011A digital power combination controller for 90W to 300W power supplies to be utilized in power adapters, chargers, television energy, and lighting power supplies. The STNRG011A embeds a power-factor correction (PFC) controller, LLC resonant half-bridge controller, 800V startup circuitry, and supervisory engine featuring an 8-bit core and dedicated peripherals, with digital algorithms accumulated within internal ROM.

Geneva. STMicroelectronics ratified its TouchGFX software package for simpler user interface (UI) designs that work collaboratively with STM32 microcontrollers. The 4.21 runs through the NeoChrom GPU processor, and utilizes TouchGFX Stock to control graphics for end-products.
