Delft, Netherlands. The first Evaluation Assurance Level 6 Augmented (EAL6+) certificate as part of Common Criteria for Information Technology Security Evaluation (CC/ ISO/IEC 15408 standard) has been awarded to Huawei's HongMeng Kernel, the foundation for privacy and security.  

Irvine, California. Fairview Microwave, an Infinite Electronics subsidiary, released a new series of Wi-Fi 6E components that deliver 10 watts power rating with frequency up to 12GHz. The devices use general connectivity inputs such as, Type N and TNC for a flexible solution. Supplemental attenuators range from 1 dB up to 30 dB.

San Jose, California. Supermicro, Inc. revealed its E3.S storage solutions leveraging the first PCIe Gen5 drives and CXL modules for AI learning and HPC clusters. The storage utilizes the standard E3.S (7.5mm) Gen 5 NVMe drives from notable vendors with up to 256TB of high throughput, low latency storage in 1U or up to a half petabyte in 2U.

Baobao Industrial has released a new series of 10-point multitouch capacitive touch screen monitors with IP65 and IP40 ratings for inclement edge deployments. The monitors were developed to run constantly and consistently in rugged environments Leveraging operating temperatures from -10 to 60 degrees Celsius.

New York, New York.  TechSee, is collaborating with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to support Amazon Connect. Amazon Connect is a complete cloud contact infrastructure now offering an integration of TechSee's AI and AR solution.

Malvern, Pennsylvania. Vishay Intertechnology, Inc., by the way of its Optoelectronics group, is delivering its VCNT2030, a surface mounted reflective optical sensor that measures 1.85 mm x 1.2 mm x 0.6 mm containing a vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) and a silicon phototransistor. The sensor is ideal for industrial, computing, consumer, and mobility applications.

Real Time Logic presented the Xedge32 Development Environment delivering a native and open gateway to ESP32 IoT design. The ESP32 is a 240MHz dual-core microcontroller with built-in Wi-Fi at a low-cost point. Lua is allowing coders of all levels to develop IoT solutions without the hassle of complex C code. Leveraging the Barracuda App Server C Code Library, the Xedge32 supports access to the ESP32's GPIOs (referred to as the "south bridge"), while developing the Barracuda App Server's Lua APIs. Integrated are advanced processes such as MQTT, OPC UA, and Modbus.

Boston, Massachusetts. The Industry IoT Consortium (IIC) and the International Society of Automation (ISA) ratified ISA/IEC 62443, radically improving security for industrial automation and control systems (IACS). The groups published the report as the IoT Security Maturity Model (SMM): ISA/IEC 62443 Mappings for Asset Owners and Product Suppliers and Service Suppliers.

The integrated FIDO2 standard enables secured user logins to the Moodle LMS platform utilizing multi-factor authentication (MFA). The Moodle plug-in for "multi-factor authentication" combines technology from the partnership for FIDO2/WebAuthn and is available to download at moodle.org/plugins/. Universities, schools, and businesses will now have phishing-resistant authentication through a hardware security key or FIDO stick.
