IBASE Technology Inc. released the compact (200 × 200 × 62mm) CMI300-1001, an edge AI Computer based on the IBASE MI1001AF Mini-ITX motherboard powered by the latest 14th/13th/12th Gen Intel Core processors (LGA1700). It supports up to 64GB of DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM memory and features dual 10G LAN plus dual 2.5G LAN ports.

Taipei, Taiwan. Advantech released plans for a strategic collaboration with Edge Impulse Inc., a Qualcomm company. The alliance will integrate Edge Impulse’s intuitive AI development tools into Advantech’s edge computing platforms.

Codasip publicized that its RISC-V Codasip L735 and Codasip L739 earned TÜV SÜD certification for functional safety. The L735 has been certified up to ASIL-B, while the L739 has been qualified up to ASIL-D defined by ISO 26262.

Ubiqconn Technology, along with its rugged computing brand RuggON, have announced the recent redesign of both websites. The new look sites improve user experience with polished looks, intuitive navigation, and custom access to vertical solutions.

Highlights from Altera at Innovators Day 2025 included a 2.5× density boost in Agilex 5 D-Series devices, faster DDR5/LPDDR5 memory interfaces, and the introduction of Visual Designer Studio in Quartus Prime v25.3 to streamline design integration. Altera revealed significant updates to its Agilex FPGA portfolio and design tools.

London, United Kingdom. During Microelectronics UK 2025, Peridio demonstrated its free, open-source Avocado OS and highlighted its capabilities to accelerate development for Linux platform-based edge AI devices.

London, United Kingdom. Sundance Multiprocessor Technology (Sundance) will now supply Red Pitaya products including credit-card-sized, open-source signal-acquisition boards. The products allow design teams to streamline development without the need to reinvent hardware.

ARBOR Technology released its fanless AEC-2000 computing solution for AI at the edge. The platform leverages the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano module and supports up to 1,024 cores GPU and 32 Tensor Cores for complex AI inference tasks in an aluminum alloy 130 x 82 x 49 mm form factor.

Lanner Electronics released its IP40-rated fanless EAI-I132, an industrial-grade Edge AI computer powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX or Nano delivering up to 100 TOPS of AI performance for traffic video analytics, PPE compliance monitoring, and AI-powered autonomous systems.

Newark, an Avnet Company, opened a new hub for on-board components delivering a single destination to design, source, and purchase materials for contemporary electronics. It offers access to circuit board components, development kits, single board computers and technical resources, including white papers, webinars, videos, and design guides.

Bicker Elektronik GmbH released its DC300WS, a contact-cooled 300W DC/DC converter with up to 98 percent competence supporting a variety of inputs from 6 to 36VDC. It is ideal for mobile applications with 12- or 24-volt vehicle systems, as well as for industrial applications hindered by instabilities in DC supply voltage. Output includes choices between DC voltages of 12V, 19V, or 24V.

Syslogic introduced its rugged IP67 and IP69 rated RPC RSL 83 powered by a quad-core Intel Atom x7433RE processor (Amston Lake). Thanks to the addition of “Turbo Boost”, the RPC RSL 83 attains enhanced clock speeds juxtaposed to the RSL 82, despite a lower base frequency. When combined with Syslogic’s smart passive cooling design, the platform is ideal for continuous operation in a variety of temperature ranges.

Bangalore, India. Ambient Scientific released its GPX10 Pro system-on-chip (SoC) utilizing advanced AI-native silicon technology to empower enhanced AI inference on battery-powered edge devices. Its AI engine allows various neural networking model types, including CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs and GRUs, locally at the edge. The GPX10 Pro is built on Ambient Scientific’s proprietary DigAn silicon architecture offering up to 100x improvements in power, performance and area compared to conventional 32-bit microcontrollers.

IBASE Technology Inc. launched its IBR500, a RISC-based 3.5″ single board computer (SBC) leveraging the MediaTek Genio 700 (MT8390) or Genio 510 (MT8370) processors, with speeds of up to 2.2 GHz. Integrated is 4GB or 8GB LPDDR4 memory and 64GB or 128GB eMMC storage in a compact 3.5″ form factor.

AAEON's UP brand is collaborating with Axelera AI to introduce the compatibility between Axelera’s Metis M.2 AI Inference Acceleration Card and AAEON’s new UP Squared Pro TWL and UP Xtreme ARL, powered by the Intel Core Processor N-series (formerly Twin Lake) and Intel Core Ultra (formerly Arrow Lake) platforms.

Wrocław, Poland. Grinn has announced a partnership with MediaTek extending the employment of AI and IoT technologies based on its off-the-shelf embedded computing platforms. The collaboration will see the creation of a series of systems-on-module (SOMs) created on the MediaTek Genio 700 and Genio 510 application processors.

EMASS, a Nanoveu subsidiary, revealed the ECS-DoT, its edge AI system-on-chip (SoC) enabling always-on, milliWatt-scale intelligence with no need for cloud-based processing thereby reducing latency and power consumption. The ECS-DoT offers four megabytes of on-board SRAM, allowing efficient AI computations on edge and IoT devices.
