TEWS Technologies introduced its TXMC391, a conduction-cooled XMC module featuring four 1000BASE-KX Ethernet interfaces offering precision networking, enhanced thermal stability, and adaptable backplane connectivity. It is designed around Intel's I210IS Gigabit Ethernet controllers and leverages a PCIe Gen2 x4 interface through an onboard switch. For consistency and flexibility, each channel is equipped with its own 16 Mbit serial flash.

Taipei, Taiwan. 7STARLAKE will introduce its first 15.6" ruggedized IP65 military laptop series, the X7, during DSEI UK (9-12 September 2025). Developed for mission-critical applications, the X7 incorporates an Intel Xeon D processor, NVIDIA Ada 5000 GPU, FPGA, 10G fiber, and PoE connections into an energy-efficient SWaP-C form factor, allowing real-time sensor-to-decision capabilities for RF signal analysis, UAV ground control, and coastal radar systems.

Avalue introduced its Intel Alder-Lake N/ Amston Lake/ Twin Lake powered ARC-39 series available in seven various sizes and highlighted IET (Intelligent Expansion Technology) modular expansion design offering flexibility and customization.

Taipei, Taiwan. IBASE Technology Inc. released the AES100, a rugged flexible edge AI computer combining deep learning performance with a consistent architecture. The platform leverages the 14th/13th Gen Intel Core processors and supports a single NVIDIA GPU up to 350W.

Axiomtek announced its IP40-rated fanless eBOX630B embedded edge AI system powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H and Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processors for innovative hybrid computing through a tri-compute architecture integrating CPU, Intel Arc GPU (H series), and NPU (Intel AI Boost). A 9–60V DC input offers deployments in a variety of AI environments.

AAEON introduced an innovative software-based EtherCAT service for its OMNI-ADP series powered by IntervalZero’s EtherCAT master stack enabling AAEON customers the ability to leverage hardware-free precise motion synchronization and deterministic I/O communication at scale, without the need for motion control cards and PLC controllers.

San Diego, California. Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. introduced its newest processor, the Qualcomm Dragonwing Q-6690. According to the company, it is the world's first enterprise mobile processor with fully integrated UHF RFID capabilities, including integrated 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and ultra-wideband.

New Taipei City, Taiwan. EverFocus Electronics introduced its newest robotic controller, the EAR-100T, powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Thor developed for the next-generation computing demands of edge AI applications such as transportation, logistics, smart agriculture, and defense.

Torrance, California. Navitas Semiconductor’s Board of Directors announced the appointment of Chris Allexandre as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1, 2025. Gene Sheridan, a Navitas founder, will step down as President and CEO and from the Board on August 31, 2025. Allexandre will also join the Company’s Board of Directors.

Austin, Texas. Ambiq Micro, Inc. (Ambiq) has expanded its Apollo5 System-on-Chip (SoC) Family with the Apollo510B wireless SoC that incorporates a 48MHz network processor and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.4 radio for wireless connectivity in edge AI applications. It is powered by an Arm Cortex-M55 (up to 250MHz) with Helium and turboSPOT, offering up to 30x better power efficacy in AI applications and 16x performance boost over Cortex-M4 devices.

Aetina publicized the accessibility of its limited Preview Kits built on the groundbreaking NVIDIA Jetson Thor Platform for innovative robotics and edge AI applications. The kits are powered by the NVIDIA Jetson T5000TM modules combining next-generation computing, real-time control, and low-latency multi-sensor fusion developed for manufacturing, healthcare, aerospace, and more.

ASRock Industrial and Barbara are collaborating, offering a combination of ASRock Industrial’s industrial computing platform with Barbara’s secure edge AI software. The goal is to allow remote orchestration, application lifecycle management, and embedded zero-trust security to support scalable, software-defined automation at the edge.

Compulab launched its compact EdgeAI-ORN designed for industrial Edge AI environments warranting vision‑centric solutions. The platform leverages the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX and Orin Nano modules delivering up to 157 TOPS of AI performance ideal for smart traffic management, industrial visual inspection, autonomous machines, retail analytics, and UAV Surveillance.

Mountain View, California.  Kodiak Robotics, Inc. announced that it has integrated NXP’s automotive processors and in-vehicle networking interfaces into its autonomous system NXP’s S32G3 vehicle network processor, S32K3 microcontroller, VR5510 multi-channel high-voltage power management integrated circuit (PMIC), and PF53 are now incorporated in the Kodiak Actuation Control Engine (ACE).

Wincomm’s WMP-22P allows real-time, mobile EEG diagnostics in ICU and OR settings with a fanless, UL/cUL 60601-1 & IEC 60601-1-2 certified platform for remotely managing medical safety. The 21.5” IP65 rated panel PC is ideal for hospitals wanting to find a solution fitting the demand for digital surgical tools that promote precision, reduce variability, and integrate seamlessly with existing workflows.

London, United Kingdom. Visitors to Microelectronics UK will have the opportunity to see Paul “The Stig” Swift, motorsport champion, multiple Guinness World Record holder, and celebrated stunt driver. The exhibition will be held from September 24^th and 25^th, at Excel London. Swift will appear on the first day with a staged interview with Electronics Weekly’s Editor Caroline Hayes discussing his career including his time as a stunt driver for Top Gear and Fast & Furious.  

Antenova introduced the Gatun (SR42I110) ISM antenna covering bands 863-870 MHz and 902–928 MHz, including LoRa, Sigfox, and Zigbee. It belongs to Antenova’s lamiiANT family that is constructed with fiberglass material meeting general automotive temperature ratings. Compared to previous efficiency ratings of ISM antennas, the Gatun maintains 72.5 percent (ISM 863 MHz) and 78 percent (ISM 915 MHz) on PCB while measuring 26 x 7.6 x 3.1 mm.

RuggON, a subsidiary of Ubiqconn Technology, has made a couple of announcements recently about new products in AI for fleet management.

Terasic released its Atum A3 Nano development kit leveraging Altera’s largest Agilex 3 FPGA with 135K logic elements. The board features 64MB of SDRAM, an onboard USB-Blaster III with USB Type-C connection, HDMI output, Gigabit Ethernet, and MicroSD storage in an 85mm x 70mm form factor.

Austin, Texas. Silicon Labs recently publicized that part of its Series 3 platform, the SiXG301 SoC has become the world’s first PSA Certified Level 4 iSE/SE certified device. Introduced with two designations, iSE/SE for secure elements and ROT for Root of Trust, Level 4 extends resilience against laser fault injection, side-channel attacks, microprobing, and voltage manipulation.
